Front-End Engineer
Job Brief: A Front-End Engineer at Rubico will be an integral part of our development team as we work on the design, development, and maintenance of customized websites and related web applications.
A Front-End Engineer at Rubico will require the understanding of project requirements and specifications, good logical and troubleshooting skills, and a strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. The Front-End Engineer should also be creative.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in web & mobile application development using HTML5/CSS
- Good understanding of device-specific development(Responsive)
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS
- Code Compilation (Webpack)
- Front-End Frameworks (Bootstrap ¾, Materialize CSS, Zurb Foundation)
- Should have good knowledge of Code Repository (GITHUB, GITLAB ETC)
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Knowledge of SEO principles (front-end perspective)
- Understanding of client-side scripting languages like Javascript, Jquery
Good to Have:
- Good understanding of any frontend programming language(VueJS, ReactJS)
- Experience with design & prototyping tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or wireframe tools
- Experience with developing IA, wireframes, interaction design patterns, prototypes, and style guides
Responsibilities:
- Understand the project by asking questions, identifying challenges and offering suggestions for improvements
- Follow the best practices for coding related to HTML/CSS and Javascript
- Ensure that deliverables are error-free by using project check sheets, Test Cases, and other tools
- Ability to demonstrate tasks to the client in sprint delivery meetings and deliver tasks to the client effectively
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Keen to learn new technologies related to the HTML/CSS
