Job Brief:A UI/UX Designer at Rubico would be responsible for designing creative solutions and bringing innovative ideas, while also creating user interfaces and enhancing the user experience according to custom requirements.
The UI-UX Designer will require experience with design software, wireframe tools, and AI tools implementation.
UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, creating wireframes, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components.
Required Skills:
- Experience: 1+ years in a UI/UX design role, with a portfolio showcasing your work
- Core Skills: You should have a solid understanding of UI/UX principles, including user-centered design, information architecture, and visual hierarchy.
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise in modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- User Research: The ability to conduct and synthesize user research, including interviews and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
- Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate design choices clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: A proactive and curious approach to learning new technologies, including how AI can enhance the design process
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience contributing to or building a design system.
- An understanding of business goals and how design impacts them.
Responsibilities:
- Design Ownership: Take ownership of the design process from ideation to implementation, creating user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- System Contribution: Help create, maintain and use a design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Research & Analysis: Plan and conduct user research to identify pain points and validate design hypotheses.
- Visual Design: Create high-quality visual designs, including typography, color palettes, and icons.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with design trends and proactively suggest process improvements.
